Job Description

This entry-level position requires a highly self-motivated individual that will obtain technical and sales experience training to transition into an Account Manager role. This position is to assist the sales and operations department in fulfilling customer requests and demands.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Sales Team with Daily Priorities
  • Pull items from stock for sales team to better communicate condition of product for customers
  • Train to obtain technical knowledge to configure servers and workstations
  • Build/package accessory packs for customers Confirm kit contents of items in stock
  • Confirm alternate part numbers on specific items
  • Cold call customers and qualify leads from existing customer database
  • Canvas for new customers Provide preliminary pricing information to qualified prospects
  • Respond to requests for quotes

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • A minimum of one year’s experience in a related position or some college experience

Account Manager

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

Selling a full line of HP products for an authorized distributor, the Account Manager is responsible for building and growing business within their assigned sales territory.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieves sales targets
  • Builds business with companies that are not currently customers or that do very little business with us
  • Maintains and grows business with current customers
  • Asks assessment questions to fully understand customers’ business and needs
  • Achieves sales metrics such as outbound calls and talk time
  • Captures opportunities to purchase product from customers
  • Communicates price quotations to customers
  • Negotiates and closes sales and purchases
  • Maintains regular proactive phone contact with customers to identify sales opportunities and strengthen relationships
  • Cold calls
  • Documents all customer contact in CRM
  • Organizes customer information to quickly be able to identify prospects for every product

Sales Coordinator

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the remote sales staff and customer service coordinator in fulfilling customer requests.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Assistant to Remote Sales Staff:

  • Sales Order entry – Accountmate entry following instructions on PO
  • Paperwork on new accounts – Credit card form and credit applications
  • Follow-up on teardown and configuration orders to be stocked
  • Tracking #s to customers – on request
  • Faxing invoices – on request
  • Confirm shipping – make sure all shipments shipped for the day
  • Follow-up on WIP request
  • Follow-up on inbound pre-sold shipments
  • Address any shipping issues
  • Follow-up on broker drop ships and obtain tracking information
  • Provide back-up assistance to customer service coordinator
  • Answers all incoming phone, fax, e-mail and in-person inquiries from customers in reference to products purchased from company
  • Works continuously with sales representatives, accounting, purchasing and other departments as required in the customer complaint resolution process
  • Reports trends to supervisor and upper management through various weekly and monthly reports
  • Maintains customer RMA information files per company guidelines

Material Handler

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure that all incoming products are correctly entered into the production system in a safe and efficient manner and according to standard operation procedures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Input all incoming pallets into the inventory management system accurately per designated area.
  • Standing and/ or sitting for long periods of time per designated area.
  • Sorting material from incoming pallets per designated area.
  • Paying close attention to detail.
  • Use time wisely and productively.
  • Un-wrap and wrap pallets.
  • Process parts according to documented process per designated area.
  • Interfaces with the leads to ensure efficient and accurate flow of product through the production process.
  • Adds MWI ID Labels for tracking purposes properly on all boxes/ parts per designated area.
  • Responsible for ensuring product is labeled correctly per designated area.
  • Ensure labels reflect proper documentation, including but not limited to, serial number, part number, etc.
  • Ensure product is forwarded to proper areas (verification, scrap, testing, packaging, SKU development, etc.)
  • Inspects products for cosmetic and visible technical damages.
  • Packaging individual products properly.
  • Removes all unnecessary labels on packaged boxes using heat guns.
  • Stack packaged products on pallet.
  • Ensures correct skid IDs are attached to each pallet prior to forwarding the pallet to the next department.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support sales team with daily priorities.

Tech Assistant and Tech I

Job Title: Tech Assistant and Tech I

Department: Sales Operations & Quality

Reports To: Supervisor, Technical Operations

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

To quickly and efficiently test all incoming products and determine the viability of the product. Hardware bring-up, system debugging, performance testing and verification of hardware/ software fixes. Interaction with manufacturing personnel to support production testing.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verification of tracking label on products to tracking label number on box.
  • Determine viability of product.
  • Verification that description of tracking number (Trace Item Program) matches unit.
  • Determine status of unit, i.e. tested, refurbished, factory sealed, new in box scrap teardown and process accordingly
  • Selection of appropriate testing method for product and functional testing of products.
  • Verification of system configuration to parts number in data base memory.
  • Manage and track products.
  • Manage and track problems identified ensuring that the product is processed appropriately.
  • Document and evaluate test results for each product.
  • Update spread sheet
  • Forward products for further processing.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A+ Certification or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Compaq diagnostic software.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a related position.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence within respective department.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operation instructions, as well as procedures.
  • Excellent computer system monitoring and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and develop understanding of new or updated products independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and shifting workloads in a fast paced environment.
  • Hand on experience in a testing unit/ environment.
  • Must be able to work well with teams and in-group settings.
  • Familiarity with Inventory Management Systems.
  • ESD Training.
