What shipping options do you provide?

We ship through FedEx, UPS and USPS.  For larger shipments, we contract through any number of freight companies.

What warranty is provided with a MasterWorks purchase?

All MasterWorks refurbished products carry a 1-year MasterWorks limited warranty (click here for our complete policy).  Some products, such as HP Renew and HP factory sealed parts, come with a manufacturer’s warranty.  The manufacturer’s warranty is the first precedent before the MasterWorks warranty, and consumes that portion of our warranty.  For example, if a product has a 90-day manufacturer’s warranty, the first 90 days are covered by the manufacturer, and the remaining 275 days fall under the MasterWorks warranty. 

I bought a part or system from you that turned out to be defective.  What do I do now?

If it falls under warranty, go here and submit a request to ship the product back to us for a full refund.  

I submitted an order from you online and it hasn’t shipped yet, but my situation has changed and I don’t need the product.  How can I cancel my order?

Call us at (800) 695-2282.  Have your confirmation email available with your order information. 

Who supplies you with parts and systems? 

As an HP and Lexmark authorized distributor, we are able to access HP and Lexmark's supply chain to acquire parts and systems at extremely affordable prices.  We have also established relationships with suppliers across the nation to acquire end-of-life material that we refurbish and resell.  When you buy from MasterWorks, you can be assured of buying genuine HP and Lexmark hardware. 

My company is looking at getting rid of some older systems.  Would you be interested in buying them?

I’m a buyer for my company, and I’d like to make a bulk purchase from you.  Do you handle commercial sales?

I want to buy a server from you, but I have to call in first.  Why don’t you sell servers online?

Many server buyers need some level of customization, whether it’s with hard drives, power supplies or memory.  Due to the complexity of servers, we are concerned that attempting to sell servers in a pure ecommerce transaction would result in an unacceptable level of confusion, both for MasterWorks and the customer.  To avoid these potential issues, we want to talk to you first to determine your exact needs. 

Why do so many of your desktops and laptops have no operating system?

Due to the nature of our certifications with HP, we are required to completely format the systems we acquire from HP before they can be resold.  For added security, we triple-format the systems to ensure that no data can be retrieved from them.
